1:1 Korean Language and Culture Mentoring for Korean-Americans
Jihye offered additional support to students who were struggling with course material or assignments, where students could ask questions, seek clarification, or receive guidance on assignments. This personalized support can help students overcome challenges and succeed academically. And She has more information about the migration policies.
— M.S.W. Student, Spring 2024Jihye is the sweetest and so opening. She was vulnerable in sharing her own work as a student, which made us feel more capable in completing our evaluations. When Jihye lead class she did a nice job, and she also provided great insight and was able to explain the materials so that everyone was on the same page. She also stepped in to help students outside of class whenever the professor was unavailable. So it was great to have another instructor to ask questions
— M.S.W. Student, Summer 2024It is a practice methods course and that is what we are doing. I really appreciate that. We also designed it ourselves so we have nobody to blame if we don't have a good experience.
