Welcome!

I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Social Work at the Brown School, Washington University in St. Louis, and a member of its Forced Migration Initiative. My research examines how employment, immigration policy, and digital inclusion shape the economic integration of immigrant and refugee families.

Research at a glance Employment, immigration policy, and digital access converge on the economic integration of immigrant and refugee families. Studied across household, population, and organizational levels with quantitative, computational, and community-engaged methods. EMPLOYMENT work → security IMMIGRATION POLICY eligibility → assistance DIGITAL INCLUSION access → opportunity ECONOMIC INTEGRATION of immigrant and refugee families Household · Population · Organization Quantitative · Computational · Community-engaged

My work is motivated by a simple problem: formal access does not always translate into resources people can use. I study where that conversion succeeds or breaks down across household, population, and organizational levels. I combine quantitative and computational methods with a community-engaged approach to study populations and processes.
